Capitol Multimedia, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDIM, CDIMW) is a public company currently specializing in content ownership and production of children's animated interactive stories and adventures for the CD-ROM platform. The Company's strategy is: to focus primarily on the growing children's segment of the interactive market; be a leader in product quality within that segment; develop high-end product families at comparatively low costs; and position our products to obtain brand name recognition and loyalty.
In 1995, the Company created the first three titles in the Grandpa Tales series of international folk tales. Another three titles are currently in production and will be completed in the summer of 1996. The PC and Macintosh CD-ROM rights to these six titles have been licensed to Davidson & Associates, Inc. and are being published under Davidson's Magic Tales' label.
The Company has recently created the first two titles in its Kidventures line. The PC and Macintosh CD-ROM rights to these two titles have been licensed to Broderbund Software, Inc. These two titles will be launched late this summer.
The Company is developing three 3D Action Learning titles for Simon & Schuster Interactive following the success of I.M. Meen.
