Level 1: The Hall of the Ancients

I'm having so much fun making a mess of
Mesopotamia's history that I'd better not forget
about the goodies I've put in a hidden room. The
room lies beyond a secret door in the Sand
Chambers!
Found on: Page #1 - north of player start
----
The Sumerians thought they were the cat's meow
just because they could write! We'll see about
that! Oh, what fun being wicked is!
Found on: Page #2 - southwest of player start
----
The Sumerians will be very upset when they try to
use their pretty new weapons! They just don't
make them like they used to! Speaking of
weapons, I hid a good one behind a secret door
in the Skeleton Tunnels, along with some other
goodies!
Found on: Page #3 - southwestern area near exit
----
Great king Hammurabi's kingdom certainly has
changed! What hasn't changed is the way out of
this level, which I'll need a Red Time Key to
get to.
Found on: Page #4 - inside secret area
within the Skeleton Tunnels
----
People say there's no place like home! Well,
I've switched things around on the Sumerians
so they won't remember where their real home is!
Found on: Page #5 - northwestern area

Level 2: The Hall of Timeless Wonders

Old Menes will certainly be upset when he sees his
new role in Egyptian history!
Found on: Page #1 - south-central area
----
I think I'll have some fun with a very important
piece of Egyptian rock and the people who found
it!
Found on: Page #2 - area east of Page #1
----
I've really messed things up for the Egyptian
dynasties! Now no one will know who's who or
what's what! That reminds me. I'd better
remember about the Gold Time Key trap! The
trick is that the straightest route is not always
the safest route!
Found on: Page #3 - central area before Gold
Time Key room
----
Tut tut! With the changes I've made, the Boy
King's tomb will probably be found by some real
celebrities and in a very strange place! Speaking
of finding things, I hope I can find that Plasma
Gauntlet. I think I left it in a hidden room inside a
tomb.
Found on: Page #4 - center-south tomb in the
Forgotten Tombs
----
In Egypt, there's the river Nile;
I couldn't leave it be.
I meddled here and meddled there.
And changed its history!
Found on: Page #5 - northeastern-most tomb in
the Forgotten Tombs

Level 3: The Hall of the Shifting Sands

One of the three ancient Egyptian kingdoms will
never be the same now that Ophelia Chill has the
Book of Ages! That reminds me - I put one of the
pages inside a hidden chamber in the West that
can be found only by pushing two buttons.
Found on: Page #1 - southwestern area
----
Poor Khufu. He had such a dull nickname. I do
hope he likes his new one! Oh, before I forget - I
left some very nice magical morsels in a hidden
room in the East. The button to open the room is
behind one of my display cases. To get them, I'll
have to go behind my mummies' backs.
Found on: Page #2 - southeastern area
----
Those poor, dead pharaohs won't be very
comfortable with the changes I've made to their
tombs! But who cares since they work for me
now! I hope they can keep meddlers away from
the golden statue of the Pharaoh behind the
Purple Time Key door. I wouldn't want anyone to
find my treasure room!
Found on: Page #3 - central west area
----
I do hope Ramses doesn't mind if I meddle with
his history a wee bit. Come to think of it, I hope he
does mind! What's he going to do? Tell his
mummy? Ha ha!
Found on: Page #4 - northwestern area
----
I think I'll meddle with Cleopatra's love life! She
won't remember who she was in love with!
Found on: Page #5 - northeastern area

Level 4: The Gardens of Harmony

Athens used to be so boring until I spiced things
up a bit. Now it's a very interesting place!
Found on: Page #1 - western center area
----
Things certainly have changed on the island of
Crete since I gave the people there a new king and
a new city! And guess what - I'm using Crete's
favorite monsters to guard my gardens!
Found on: Page #2 - northwestern area
----
Poor Homer won't recognize his own poems now
that I've changed things around!
Found on: Page #3 - north center area
----
The Seven Wonders just don't seem so wonderful
these days, thanks to a helping hand from
Ophelia Chill! Hey - I "wonder" where I put those
magical goodies? Oh, yes, they're in my secret
grotto over to the East. Now, if I can just
remember where the button to open the secret
door is!
Found on: Page #4 - hidden cell unlocked
with Blue Time Key
----
Alexander just doesn't seem so great now that
I've mixed things up a bit! What is great is the
collection of goodies I left at the end of the
Marble Maze!
Found on: Page #5 - southeast area near the
Marble Maze

Level 5: The Courtyard of Splendors

Twins built Rome, eh? Well, I've got twin
gladiator dwarves guarding one of the better
magical items in my manor! Remember, Ophelia,
the item is in a secret room that can be
opened only from the outside!
Found on: Page #1 - dead-end north of
player start
----
I've never been fond of comedy, although I find
tragedy very amusing! It would be very tragic if I
forgot to stay clear of the statues and the fountain
in the North Courtyard! Very tragic indeed!
Found on: Page #2 - directly south of
Yellow Time Key door
----
I think anyone searching for the way out will be
"Roman" around all day! That is, of course,
unless they go as far to the Northeast as they can
go!
Found on: Page #3 - center west area
----
I think these three thinkers think too much! Think
hard, Ophelia - where did you put that Banish
Spell? Oh, yes, it's inside the Riddle Room in the
Northeast hall!
Found on: Page #4 - northwest area
----
One of the world's greatest building feats has
been renamed by Ophelia Chill! I like the new
name much better! Ha ha!
Found on: Page #5 - northeast area

Level 6: The Arboretum of Glory

Only a great leader could find all of the Book
of Ages pages I've hidden here in my Arboretum!
Mental note, Ophelia: Those who lose the path are
in for a BIG surprise!
Found on: Page #1 - southern pedestal in
center of south courtyard
----
The Romans were very good warriors. Only a great
warrior will be able to defeat the Ghoulish
guardians in my Colosseum!
Found on: Page #2 - western pedestal in
center of south courtyard
----
My Colosseum is very dangerous! I must
remember to keep my guard up whenever I enter.
You never know what gate will open
unexpectedly!
Found on: Page #3 - northern pedestal in
center of south courtyard
----
The empire my dear Ignatius and I are planning
will last much longer than the Roman Empire!
Those Romans simply lacked imagination!
Speaking of which, I imagine I'll have to
remember that I hid the Purple Time Key in my
secret grotto in the Southeast.
Found on: Page #4 - northwestern pedestal in
south courtyard
----
What does Ignatius always say? Oh, yes. When
you are using supernatural guards in your manor
or magical labyrinth, be sure to keep a Banish
Spell handy. That's why I left one in the Riddle
Room!
Found on: Page #5 - northwestern area

Level 7: The Hall of the Oasis

I've hidden my Riddle Room somewhere behind
the Gold Time Key door. Anyone who
comes looking for it will have to get through my
Persian Sorcerors first! There are some powerful
goodies in that room, I must say!
Found on: Page #1 - southeastern area
----
Oh, my! I can't remember where I left the Red
Time Key! I think it was in the secret room to the
North. Yes, that's where it is. And I mustn't
forget that the button inside this room will help
me avoid armies of my Murklorian baddies.
Found on: Page #2 - southwestern area
----
Changing history requires so much work!
I've only just begun. I must say, though,
that I've never had so much fun!
Found on: Page #3 - southwestern room in
central chamber
----
I like only one thing more than changing history
and that's listening to the wonderful poetry of my
dear I. M. Meen! When we finish taking over
time, I'll be able to hear his poems all day long!
Found on: Page #4 - upper room on east
side of central chamber
----
Why do they bother naming rivers, anyway? It's
not like a river is going to introduce itself to you!
Well, just in case, I'm going to have some fun
with this river - and maybe a few other things too!
Found on: Page #5 - northeastern area

Level 8: The Hall of Silk and Spices

Sometimes I outdo myself with cleverness! I've
hidden the Blue Time Key entrance so that four
separate switches must be flipped before the door
appears!
Found on: Page #1 - southeast corner room
----
Marco Polo will never be the same! I like the trip
I planned for him much better than the original.
That reminds me - I put some very original
goodies in the Riddle Room. I mustn't forget that
it's inside the Gold Time Key area.
Found on: Page #2 - northwest corner room
----
Once I've finished meddling with history, my dear
Ignatius Mortimer Meen and I will be in charge
of the biggest empire ever! Oh, don't forget that
behind a picture lies a hidden room.
Some very nice things are hidden inside!
Found on: Page #3 - southeastern area
in inner region
----
Those Chinese dynasties really knew how to hold
on to their power! Ignatius and I should study
them closely while we plan our empire! Of course,
they've changed a little! Hee hee!
Found on: Page #4 - northeastern area
in inner region
----
Confucius was very wise, but he would never had
figured out that a ruby sitting in the middle of an
empty room can mean trouble!
Found on: Page #5 - center west area
in inner region

Level 9: The Hall of Battle

William has certainly broadened his horizons!
He'll thank me for this when my deer Meen and I
rule all of time. Time, time - that reminds me.
Where did I hide the Purple Time Key? Oh, yes,
it's to the West. There's a little surprise waiting
there too!
Found on: Page #1 - northeast cell near
player start
----
Charlemagne was a stuffy fellow! All that interest
in old books and learning! Poo! The only books
worth reading are the sweet words of my dear
Meen. I must give him the Spirit Cannon that is
hidden within a cubbyhole that has no suit of
armor. He'll simply adore it!
Found on: Page #2 - southwest cell near
player start
----
All this boring talk of kings and nobles makes me
sleepy! Perhaps I'll take a little nap in my Riddle
Room, beyond the Green Time Key Door. I'll
bring some goodies with me too.
Found on: Page #3 - southwestern chamber
in armor hall
----
Those poor Europeans will be even worse off after
they see what I've done!
Found on: Page #4 - southeastern chamber
in armor hall
----
I prefer my Murklorian Viking Goblins to the real
Vikings. They obey my every command - even
when I tell them to guard the level exit in the
chamber. They know I'll send them
right back to Murklore if they give me any
trouble!
Found on: Page #5 - southeastern area

Level 10: The Hall of Kings and Queens

I love to meddle with important events! This time
I've outdone myself! I enjoyed this even more
than hiding all those goodies in the hidden room
in the North!
Found on: Page #1 - southeastern corner of
southernmost area
----
I was never fond of war. I prefer to use my magic
to win battles, enchanting my enemies into
crusading for me. It's much less messy! Speaking
of messes, I must remember to have my minions
replace the shield that fell off of the suit of armor
in the South and rolled away.
Found on: Page #2 - northern part of
northernmost area
----
I'm glad this girl wasn't around when dear Meen
and I started our little plan. She could have been
trouble. Well, after the changes I've made, she
won't be bothering us!
Found on: Page #3 - western part of
northernmost area
----
This Dante fellow might have written some
popular poems, but my sweet Ignatius is much
better! My heart melts when I think of his poems,
such as "Oh, Wonderful Meen." His poems lift
my spirits. Speaking of spirits, don't forget
about the Spirit Cloak and Spirit Cannon in
the Riddle Room behind the Red Time Key Door!
Found on: Page #4 - northwestern part of
northern/western areas
----
I've taken bits and pieces of history from here
there and stitched them all together on
this page. What fun!
