Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon - Cutscene Errors

This list was part of my old CD-i Zelda asset packages (before they were hosted on The Spriters Resource) and details almost every cutscene error in Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. By this, I mean "discolorations/consistency/general error" stuff, not the whole cutscenes themselves. The cutscene frames on this list start at 0, which is basically the first frame of said cutscene.
I was going to fix these when I helped work on the fan remasters, but gave up in the middle of doing cutscenes for TFoE.

Note: Inconsistencies between the cutscenes characters and their sprites are NOT counted. For example, Duke Onkled has blond hair in the cutscenes, but gray hair in his sprites. However, the list will not count it as an error.

Also, I'm not providing any pictures as it'd take up about 10% of my allocated space on NeoCities. Sorry! Use the Spriters' Resource cutscene rips for cross-referencing.

-- Intro:

Sometimes, black pixels will appear on the top-right of the screen.
The German/French/Dutch versions of the intro don't have the disappearing animations of the "ONE MONTH LATER" and "LATER STILL" texts.
Zelda has pink nail polish that sometimes appear in cutscenes, but oftentimes don't. I'm putting it here so that I don't have to put it in every cutscene that doesn't have it.
Frames 14 to 16: The line that separates the King's right arm from his body is missing.
Frame 26: There's no detail on the King's hand.
Frames 33 and 34: Ditto for the right hand. The second hand is horrendous!
Frames 115 to 119: Ditto, for both hands. They really hate the King's hands, huh?
Frames 145 to 154: Zelda's headband changes color from light purple to blue twice in a row.
Frames 155 to 159: Impa's hair is a darker shade of grey.
Frame 156: Impa's neck is the same color as her robe.
Frame 158: The space between Impa and the Triforce isn't transparent, but the same color as her robe.
Frame 170: Impa's necklace disappears too early.
Frame 176: Impa's head and hair disappear for the rest of the scene.
Frame 178: Part of Impa's arm disappears.
Frame 214: Part of the King's arrival (the plank) is leaking out into the real world.
Frame 216: The bottom-right corner of the Triforce doesn't have color, and is missing a bit of line.
Frame 248: Part of the King's hair is darker.
Frame 272: Part of Link's left arm is transparent.
Frame 309 and 311: Part of the hair behind Link's hair is the same color as his skin.
Frame 332 and 335: Part of the... cloud thing (?) is transparent.
Frames 354 to 358: The right side of the screen is missing the swirly red dust.
Frames 383 to 395: Zelda's hair really likes to disappear in this scene.
Frames 397 and 398: Zelda's shirt is a different color.
Frame 414: Impa's ear is missing its detail.
Frames 446, 448 and 449: Link's right sideburn is missing.
Frame 456: Zelda's skirt is a different color.
Frames 519 to 522: Link is missing during the "LATER STILL" transition. Probably intentional, as Animation Magic probably didn't want to have Link explode into the greatest time passage text ever made.
Frames 570 and 571: Zelda loses her eyebrows. Not that they make much difference.
Frame 579: Part of Zelda's hair changes color.
Frame 581: Speaking of Impa, the back of her hair is brown.
Frame 630: The ship's flag is missing.
Frame 632: The shading underneath the ship's windows is missing.

-- Sakado Merchant (Talking to Zelda):

The merchant's eyeshadow (?) tends to disappear in this cutscene.
Frame 2: The merchant's right elbow crease is missing.
Frames 27 to 29: There's a line near the merchant's left hand.
Frames 58 to 66: The bomb near the merchant's is really messed up - transparent at parts, random lines over it, and so on.
Frame 60: The merchant's left shoulder disappears.
Frame 64 to 79: The merchant's apron is missing, part of his left hand disappears, his hair and clothes change size, he looks like he's a legless torso on a table... Yeah, there's a lot wrong in these frames.

-- Sakado Merchant (Refusing Sale):

Frame 6: Part of the merchant's right arm disappears.
Frame 60: Part of the merchant's tie disappears.
Frames 66 to 79: Part of the merchant's apron disappears. It's all about the disappearences down here, baby!

-- Impa (Tykogi Tower):

Many of Impa's cutscenes show her ears wrongly shaded - shaded part on top, non-shaded part on bottom.
Frames 9 and 10: Part of Impa's right sideburn is missing.
Frame 29: A small part of Impa's hair is transparent.
Frame 40: Part of Impa's robe is transparent.

-- Lika (Talking to Zelda):

In this cutscene, Zelda is wearing the outfit she wore in the DiC cartoon. There's also some black lines which appear over her hair.
Frames 48 and 50: Zelda's finger doesn't have nail polish.
Frames 72 to 76: Zelda's ear is missing.
Frame 99: Zelda's eyebrow is missing.

-- Makoto (Flute):

Frame 8: Makoto's teeth are transparent.

-- Lubonga (Shroud):

Zelda's costume is the DiC cartoon costume here, too.
Frames 40 to 62: Lubonga's chair changes color.
Frame 100: Part of Zelda's hair disappears.

-- Gibdo (Death):

Frames 41 and 42: Gibdo disappears.

-- Sanda:

More black pixels at the top right.
Frame 28: Sanda's left earring is missing.
Frame 39: Zelda's topless! (Well, her vest is the same color as her flesh.) Also, her sword is partially uncolored.
Frames 52 to 75: Sanda's sleeves are green instead of purple.
Frames 73 and 74: Part of Sanda's left arm is transparent.
Frame 85: Zelda's belt is the same color as her flesh. The space where her stomach would be is the same color as her shirt.
Frame 86: The inside of Zelda's v-neck of doom is the same color as her hair.
Frame 87: The space between Zelda's left hand and body is the same color as her belt strap.
Frame 88 to 90: The space between Zelda's right arm and the sword is transparent, where it should be skin-colored (because Zelda's left arm is there, y'see).

-- Yokan (Escaping The Fishhead):

Frame 0: Yokan's neck is transparent.
Frames 9 to 17: Yokan's necklace (technically, its straps) is missing.
Frame 15: Yokan's eyebrows are gone.
Frame 24: Yokan's chest is devoid of details, including his necklace.
Frames 58 to 70: Yokan's pants are darker in color.

-- Grimbo (Talking to Zelda):

Frame 63: Part of Grimbo's apron is the same color as his sweater(?).
Frame 100: The line separating Grimbo's chest and waist is missing.
Frame 106: You know the error for Frame 63 for this cutscene? Same thing.

-- Grimbo (Power Glove):

Frame 2: A small part of Zelda's left shoulder is different from the previous (and next) frames.
Frames 14 and 15: Zelda's right shoulder overlaps her hair.
Frame 16: Grimbo's left hand is partially colored the same as his shirt.
Frames 19 and 20: Part of Grimbo's sweater is the same color as his hood.
Frame 22: Yet another "apron is the same color as sweater" error.
Frame 23: Grimbo's right thumb is uncolored.
Frames 24 to 26: Part of Grimbo's sweater is the same color as his hood, again. Man, Animagic really flubbed up this one part.
Frame 29: Zelda has an eyelid for this frame, and this frame only. Weird.
Frame 64: Part of Grimbo's hood is the same color as his flesh.

-- Myra (Magic Cape):

Frames 3 to 10: Myra's necklace is missing in some frames.
Frame 11: Myra's frills change color.
Frame 45: Part of Myra's hair is red.
Frame 53: Zelda's ear is purple.
Frame 55: Part of Zelda's arm is uncolored.
Frame 60: Myra's pupils are darker.
Frame 62: The space between Myra's right hand and the shroud is green instead of red.
Frame 66: The line between Zelda's waist and right arm is missing.
Frame 77: Most of Zelda's hair changes color.
Frame 107 to 112: Zelda's cape is uncolored in some parts.
Frame 111: A part of Zelda's cape that should be light green is actually dark green.

-- Harbanno (Tykogi Tower):

Frame 20: Harbanno's chef hat is transparent.
Frame 84: There's a transparent hole where Harbanno's torso would be.
Frame 86: A very small part of Harbanno's left arm is transparent.
Frames 100 and 101: Harbanno's eyebrow and ear are transparent, respectively.

-- Iron Knuckle (Taunting Zelda):

Frame 0: Some of Iron Knuckle's colors are different from his other frames.
Frames 53 and 55: Part of Zelda's sword is transparent.

-- Iron Knuckle (Death):

Frame 14: Iron Knuckle's right shoulder pad is a different color.
Frame 34 onwards: Part of Iron Knuckle's armor loses its shading. (It's right next to his heart.)
Frame 39: The right Armos is missing a bit of shading on his left shoulder.
Frames 47 and 49: There's a line at where the right Armos' right arm should be, but it isn't colored in. The arm is shown, but it's lower than what the line suggests.
Frame 68: The right Armos has a transparent brick.
Frames 74 and 75: Parts of the Armos' spear are transparent.

-- Mayor Cravendish (Imprisoned):

Frames 8 and 9: The lowest parts of Kravendish's overcoat are transparent.
Frames 16 and 19: Kravendish's left cuff has some transparency issues.
Frame 30: Part of Kravendish's shirt is the same color as his overcoat.
Frame 41: Kravendish's nose isn't pink-colored.

-- Witches (Darkness Down):

Frame 2: The olive Witch's sleeve isn't shaded in.
Frame 32: The red Witch's sleeve is missing outlines.
Frames 95 to 118: The green Witch's head... thing is a different color.
Frame 121: Part of the red Witch's shirt is the same color as her flesh.

-- Harbanno (Bread):

Frame 6: The coattail of Harbanno's shirt isn't shaded.
Frame 21: Some detail on Harbanno's hat is missing.
Frame 48: Harbanno's left thumb is missing.
Frame 56: The space underneath Harbanno's left arm isn't transparent.
Frame 64: Part of Harbanno's left hand is the same color as his bread.

-- Yokan (Blacksmith):

Frames 2 to 31: Yokan doesn't have the string that attaches his necklace to his neck.
Frame 36: A tiny bit of Yokan's hair is transparent.
Frames 43 to 45: Yokan's necklace string is missing yet again.
Frames 46 and 47: Yokan's apron and most of his chest details are missing.
Frames 50 and 51: Part of the hammer is the same color as Yokan's flesh.

-- Yokan (Magic Sword):

With the exception of the intros and endings, this cutscene easily has the largest amount of individual errors.

More black dots at the top-right.
Once again, Yokan's necklace isn't attached to his neck most of the time.
Frames 0 to 6: The leftmost part of the crystal's sparkle doesn't go off-screen.
Frames 8 and 9: Yokan is missing his hammer.
Frame 11: The sword's crossguard is a lighter color.
Frame 14: Part of the anvil is lighter in color.
Frame 16: The space between Yokan's torso and his left arm is the same color as his apron.
Frame 19: Yokan's apron is... weird-looking. Apart from the missing straps, part of it seems to be incomplete. It's hard to describe adequately.
Frame 28: Much like how it just appeared, the hammer disappears on this frame. Understandable, but strange.
Frames 34 to 47: The side of the anvil is a lighter color.
Frame 38: There's a bit of the previous sword glow near Yokan's head, but colored dark blue.
Frame 42 to 49: The tie on the back of Yokan's apron is missing. This is really stretching it, but I'm tired, it's currently 2 AM, and I'm picking up a whole lotta animation errors. Help me.
Frames 64 to 70: Yokan isn't wearing his pants.
Frames 64 to 84: Yokan's gloves are missing. Probably not a good idea to grip a recently-smithed sword with your bare hands, mate.
Frame 72: Yokan's pants are missing.

This cutscene sucks, man.

-- Witches (Death):

Frame 1: The do-rag of the red Witch has some white pixels around it.
Frame 10: One of the green Witch's sleeves is the same color as her flesh.
Frame 17: The olive Witch's back rope thing (I don't know the word) is a different color.
Frames 27 to 29: The olive Witch's legs are missing.
Frame 36: The red Witch's apron is lighter in color.
Frame 41: Part of the red Witch's apron is red instead of... orange?
Frame 47: The olive Witch's apron is missing.

-- Fairies (Fairy Stuff):

Frame 0: The pink fairy's wand is transparent.
Frame 3: The pink fairy's right shoulder is transparent.
Frame 13: Part of the pink fairy's dress is a different color.
Frame 15 to 23: Zelda's mouth has no outline.
Frame 19: The very bottom of the cutscene is weird - probably glitched?
Frame 21: The blue fairy's wand is transparent.
Frames 31 and 63: The blue fairy's left wing is transparent.
Frame 55: Starting on this frame, a black line periodically appears at the very left of the cutscene.
Frame 58: The bag of fairy dust gets slightly different colors.
Frame 60: One of the blue fairy's antennas is missing.
Frame 85: The space between the pink fairy's right wing and arm isn't transparent.
Frame 85 to 88: Zelda's arm isn't connected to anything.
Frame 89: Part of the blue fairy's dress is bluer than it should be.

-- Impa (Wizzrobe):

Frames 9 and 10: Part of Impa's right sideburn is missing.
Frame 29: A small part of Impa's hair is transparent. I know, I know, I copy and pasted this from the Tykogi Tower list.
Frames 37 and 38: There's a red line on the right side of the screen.
Frames 63 and 64: Wizzrobe's nostril and mouth change color for a brief moment.
Frame 65: Part of Wizzrobe's face is colored grey.
Frame 82: Wizzrobe's hood has a different interior color.
Frame 101: The gem on Lady Alma's head thing is transparent.
Frame 104: Lady Alma's ear is missing.

-- Lady Alma:

Zelda's. Eyebrows. I know this isn't a animation error, but I prefer the pencil lines, thank you very much.
Frame 7: Lady Alma's right hand is larger than the following frames. Weird.
Frame 19: A small, small part of Zelda's shirt is transparent.
Frames 36 and 37: Zelda's mouth isn't red.
Frames 83 and 84: More transparent shirt fun! Yay.

-- Impa (Harkinian's Capture):

Frame 4: Impa's teeth are transparent. It's very hard to see.
Frames 7 and 8: The right side of the Triforce looks weird.
Frame 16: The right side of the Triforce is transparent.
Frame 20: A small part of the Triforce is neon green.
Frames 78 to 85: Do you like missing outlines? Because in these frames, Ganon's a treasure trove of them!
Frame 91: Part of Hectan's beard is transparent.
Frame 93: Part of Hectan's hair is transparent.

-- Impa (Hektan):

Frames 0 and 1: A small part of Impa's left hand is the same color as her robe.

-- Lord Kiro:

Frame 15: Part of Zelda's headband is a different color.

-- Impa (Omfak):

Frames 9 and 10: Part of Impa's right sideburn is missing.
Frame 29: A small part of Impa's hair is transparent. Yes, I know I C + P'd this from the other two Impa cutscenes.
Frame 70: Part of Omfak's belt is colored yellow instead of black.
Frames 72 to 132: Omfak's cape is missing.
Frame 84: Part of Omfak's right arm is transparent.
Frame 96: One of the chicken leg bones is the same color as Omfak's gloves.
Frame 113: Part of Omfak's left arm is missing.

-- Myra (Fairy Lantern):

The right of the tree is transparent. This doesn't effect Zelda or Myra for the most part, though.

-- Impa (Ganon):

Frame 16: Part of Impa's hair is missing.
Frames 31 and 32: Part of Impa's robe is the same color as her flesh.
Frame 43: Impa's hair is missing again.
Frame 52: Part of Impa's robe is missing.
Frames 58 to 64: If you guessed that Impa's hair is missing here, you'd be right!

-- Ganon (Retaliation):

Frame 11: The front of Zelda's hair is a different color.
Frame 27: The back of Zelda's hair has swapped colors.
Frame 37: Ganon's necklace is missing, and Zelda's sideburn has an unusually thick outline to it.

-- Ganon (Defeat):

More missing outlines here. I'm not even going to point them out.
Frame 45: Ganon's right shoulder is missing.

-- Impa (Link and the King):

Frame 3: Part of Zelda's headband is the same color as her flesh.
Frame 15: The space behind Zelda's head is the same color as her flesh. Also, one of her eyebrows is missing.
Frames 68 and 69: Parts of Impa's face are the same color as her hair.
Frame 75: Part of Zelda's hair is the same color as her shirt. Also, one of her eyebrows is missing. Again.

-- Fairies (Water of Life):

Part of Zelda's arm likes to vanish. Not many errors here, though, apart from the occassional black lines.

-- Ending:

Frame 33: Lord Kiro's right arm is colored differently.
Frame 82: One of Duke Onkled's cuff dots is missing.
Frame 126: A part of the King's left hand is white instead of transparent.
Frames 196 and 197: Zelda's eye is transparent.
Frames 236 to 239: Some weird things going on with Alma's mirror on the right side of the screen. There are some extra colors which appear too - the original colors for the mirror?
Frame 275: Zelda's headband is brighter.
Frames 293 and 294: Part of Zelda's hair has an extra outline.
Frame 307: Part of the King's hair is the same color as his skin.
Frames 322 to 360: The top and sideburn of Zelda's hair is darker.
Frames 322, 326, 329, and 330: The King's moustache is lighter.
Frames 354 and 355: The King has no neck.
